Lorven Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Data Engineer Consultant for a contract project in North Hanover, Burlington County, US. This role focuses on building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehouses and lakes on Google Cloud Platform, with exposure to GraphQL, blockchain and AI technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines that ingest data from diverse sources.
• Build and optimise data warehouses and data lakes on Google Cloud Platform for analytics and reporting.
• Ensure data quality, integrity and availability across all systems.
• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists and engineering teams to deliver end‑to‑end data solutions.
• Implement GraphQL APIs for data access and integrate blockchain and AI components where required.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues and continuously improve data workflows.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or Consultant, preferably on contract projects.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with Google Cloud Platform services (BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage).
• Solid knowledge of GraphQL, blockchain fundamentals and AI/ML integration.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python or Java/Scala for pipeline development.
• Experience with data modelling, warehouse design and lake architecture.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication and teamwork skills.

Compensation

Fixed contract rate: $80,873.70 per year (equivalent to $6,739.48 per month).
