Job Summary

Burns & McDonnell is hiring a Graphic Designer (Remote) – Digital, Marketing & Brand Design to create high‑quality visual assets for engineering, construction and consulting projects. This full‑time or part‑time role is based remotely in the United States, with a primary location in Kansas City, Wyandotte County.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop digital graphics, marketing collateral, and brand visuals that align with corporate guidelines.
• Collaborate with engineering and project teams to produce visual content for proposals, presentations, and client communications.
• Design social media assets, website banners, email templates, and print materials.
• Maintain brand consistency across all platforms and ensure files are production‑ready.
• Stay current with design trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve output.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of professional graphic design experience, preferably in a B2B or engineering environment.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and familiarity with Figma or Sketch.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating digital, marketing and brand design work.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.

• Experience with motion graphics or video editing software.
• Understanding of engineering or construction industry terminology.
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS for basic web asset creation.
