Job Summary

The GMT/Blanket Technician position with NANA Regional Corporation is a rotational role based in Prudhoe Bay, North Slope, Alaska. This hands‑on role supports construction and utility projects, handling scaffolding, pipe lifting, and insulation work while working independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and organize tools, raw materials, and equipment on‑site.
• Erect, adjust, and dismantle scaffolding and related structures safely and efficiently.
• Operate air‑bag lifting systems for pipe handling and rack placement.
• Cut, strip, and install insulation on piping systems according to project specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on GMT/blanket equipment.
• Maintain accurate logs of material usage, work performed, and safety checks.
• Collaborate with project supervisors and other trades to meet schedule targets.
• Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical or trade certification preferred.
• Proven experience in construction, utility work, or similar field work.
• Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings and work orders.
• Experience with scaffolding erection, air‑bag pipe lifting, and insulation installation.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills.
• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision in remote, rotational environments.
