Full Stack Engineer

Job Summary

Vaco by Highspring is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications in the United States. This role works with Java, Angular, Spring Boot, reactive architectures, and relational databases to deliver secure, high‑quality SaaS solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement end‑to‑end features for web applications, covering both front‑end (Angular) and back‑end (Java, Spring Boot) components.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and micro‑services using reactive programming patterns.
• Write unit, integration, and performance tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with product owners, UX designers, and QA teams to translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices in security and compliance.
• Optimize database schemas and queries for PostgreSQL or MySQL to support high‑volume transactions.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and continuous delivery pipelines.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in full‑stack development.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Angular (or comparable front‑end framework).
• Experience with reactive frameworks (e.g., Project Reactor, RxJava) and micro‑service architecture.
• Solid understanding of relational databases, SQL optimization, and data modeling.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI), containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a regulated SaaS environment.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of security standards such as OWASP, GDPR, or HIPAA.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (JUnit, Jasmine/Karma).
• Exposure to DevOps practices and infrastructure as code.
