The position is based in New Albany, Floyd County, IN and offers a competitive salary of $94,910 – $112,692 per year.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual, couples, and family psychotherapy sessions for residents in skilled nursing and long‑term care facilities.
• Assess mental health status, develop treatment plans, and document progress in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams—including physicians, nurses, social workers, and case managers—to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Provide crisis intervention, de‑escalation, and support for acute mental health events.
• Participate in case conferences, staff education, and quality‑improvement initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with state licensing regulations, HIPAA, and TeamHealth policies.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Current Indiana license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).
• Minimum 2 years of post‑licensure experience providing psychotherapy in a nursing home, long‑term care, or similar setting.
• Strong clinical skills in evidence‑based modalities (CBT, DBT, EMDR, family systems, etc.).
