About This Position

Join NearSource as a Frontend Developer in Ontario, Canada, working hybrid (3 days remote) on a cutting‑edge construction intelligence platform. You will craft high‑performance React/TypeScript UI components, including WebGL‑driven 3D visualisations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain modular front‑end architecture using React, TypeScript, and WebGL.
  • Implement responsive, real‑time user interfaces that visualise construction project data.
  • Collaborate with product, backend, and UX teams to translate requirements into interactive features.
  • Optimize performance for complex 3D scenes and ensure cross‑browser compatibility.
  • Write unit and integration tests, conduct code reviews, and uphold best coding standards.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of the development process.

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of professional experience in front‑end development.
  • Strong expertise in React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Hands‑on experience with WebGL, Three.js or similar 3D libraries.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design frameworks.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and real‑time data handling.
