Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement FPGA digital logic solutions for advanced air‑traffic control and surveillance applications.
- Participate in the full FPGA lifecycle: requirements gathering, architecture definition, coding (VHDL/Verilog), simulation, synthesis, and hardware verification.
- Collaborate with systems, firmware, and hardware engineers to integrate FPGA modules into larger radio‑navigation and SDR platforms.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, test plans, and verification reports.
- Perform debugging, performance tuning, and post‑production support for deployed FPGA designs.
- Stay current with emerging FPGA technologies and industry standards to drive continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience with FPGA development using VHDL or Verilog.
- Proficiency with Xilinx or Intel (Altera) toolchains (Vivado, Quartus, ModelSim, etc.).
- Strong understanding of digital signal processing, high‑speed serial interfaces, and RF system requirements.
- Experience in verification methodologies (UVM, SystemVerilog) and hardware debugging tools (logic analyzers, oscilloscopes).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
