Finance Manager, D&Z Plants

Day & Zimmermann is seeking a full‑time Finance Manager, D Z Plants to lead financial planning and analysis for its munitions manufacturing site in Wake Village, Bowie County, TX.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct site‑wide budgeting, forecasting and long‑range financial planning.
• Analyze cost structures, estimate‑to‑complete (EAC) forecasts and variance reports to drive profitability.
• Provide strategic financial insights to plant leadership and support decision‑making for capital projects.
• Ensure compliance with DoD regulations, GAAP and internal controls.
• Lead and develop a team of financial analysts, overseeing daily reporting, cost accounting and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with operations, procurement and supply‑chain teams to align financial objectives with production goals.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and presentations for senior management.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive finance experience in manufacturing or defense contracting.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, budgeting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Excellent analytical, communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $112,961.34 per year (fixed). Competitive benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401(k) match and paid time off.
