Job Summary

Coinstar, LLC is seeking a reliable Field Technician in Charlotte, Mecklenburg County, US. This role involves using a company vehicle to perform first‑ and second‑line maintenance on Coinstar kiosks across an assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, including interior and exterior cleaning, wiping down surfaces, and routine inspections.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on kiosks, providing first‑line support and escalating to second‑line when necessary.
• Plan and prioritize daily routes, adapting to changing priorities, weather conditions, and urgent service requests.
• Maintain accurate service logs and complete required paperwork in the company’s field service system.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company standards while operating the company vehicle.
• Communicate effectively with customers, store managers, and internal teams to coordinate service appointments.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; technical certifications (e.g., A+, Network+) are a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to maintain a company vehicle.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast‑changing environment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of electronics, networking, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs and work at heights when necessary.

Compensation & Benefits
