Job Summary

Diebold Nixdorf is seeking a Field Service Technician in Fort Worth, Tarrant County, US. In this role you will provide on‑site maintenance and repair for our banking and retail solutions, ensuring reliable operation for customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on safes, vaults, safe deposit boxes, after‑hours depositories, and related mechanical/electronic equipment.
• Respond to service calls promptly, diagnose issues, and restore functionality within agreed service level agreements.
• Document service activities, parts used, and customer interactions in the company’s service management system.
• Collaborate with regional support teams to escalate complex problems and ensure timely resolution.
• Provide technical guidance and training to customer staff on proper equipment use and basic upkeep.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and tools, ordering replacements as needed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory compliance standards for all on‑site work.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or apprenticeship in electronics, mechanical systems, or related field is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience servicing safe, vault, or similar security equipment.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; ability to travel within the Fort Worth service area.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle after‑hours emergencies.
