Job Summary

CompHealth is recruiting a Locum Tenens Anesthesiologist for a well‑established facility in Los Angeles, California. This full‑time temporary role offers a fixed annual rate of $126,834.94 and includes weekday shifts plus monthly Saturday coverage.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anaesthetic care for general, obstetric, orthopaedic, endoscopic and paediatric cases.
• Assist with specialised procedures such as neurosurgery, thoracic surgery and other complex cases.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nursing staff and peri‑operative teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Maintain accurate medical records and comply with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
• Participate in on‑call duties and monthly Saturday shifts (9 am – 7 pm).

Essential Requirements

• Current medical registration and a valid DEA licence.
• Board certification or eligibility in Anaesthesiology.
• Minimum 2 years of post‑graduate experience in a hospital setting.
• Proven experience with general, OB, orthopaedic and paediatric anaesthesia.
• Preferred experience in neurosurgery and thoracic procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
