Job Summary

New Age Group is seeking an Experienced Security Systems Integration Technician to join their team in Midland, Simcoe region, Canada. This full‑time, permanent role is 100% onsite and offers a competitive salary range of $85,000–$100,000 plus an annual performance bonus.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, install, and configure advanced security and surveillance systems for commercial and industrial clients.
• Integrate hardware and software components, ensuring seamless communication between cameras, access control panels, alarms, and monitoring platforms.
• Conduct site surveys, produce detailed schematics, and provide technical recommendations aligned with client requirements.
• Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning to guarantee optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
• Deliver on‑site training and support to clients and internal staff, fostering knowledge transfer and user confidence.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including as‑built drawings, service reports, and change orders.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging security technologies, industry best practices, and regulatory changes.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in security systems integration, preferably with video surveillance, access control, and intrusion detection.
• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, IP addressing, VLANs, and PoE.
• Proficiency with common security platforms (e.g., Milestone, Genetec, Honeywell, Bosch).
• Relevant certifications such as CTS, BICSI, or vendor‑specific credentials are a plus.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and a customer‑service orientation.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to client sites within the Simcoe region.
