Key Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and test Generac generators and related equipment at customer sites.
• Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manufacturer guidelines.
• Provide clear explanations of system operation and maintenance to customers.
• Maintain accurate service records and complete job paperwork in the company’s digital system.
• Collaborate with sales and project managers to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
• Stay current with Generac product updates, industry codes, and local electrical regulations.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience installing and servicing Generac or comparable standby generators.
• Valid electrician’s license or certification recognized in Pennsylvania.
• EPA‑approved certification for handling refrigerants (if applicable).
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to read electrical schematics.
• Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

• Generac Power Pro Premier Dealer training or certification.
• Experience with both residential and commercial backup power solutions.
• Knowledge of local building and electrical codes.
