Job Summary
Herman Drainage llc is seeking an Equipment Operator / Laborer for its Woodward, Dallas County site. This hands‑on role involves operating construction machinery, handling materials, and ensuring safety on‑site.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a variety of construction equipment (e.g., excavators, loaders, skid‑steer loaders) safely and efficiently.
- Perform general labor tasks such as loading/unloading materials, site cleanup, and demolition support.
- Prepare job sites by grading, compacting, and setting up temporary structures.
- Inspect equipment daily, report any defects, and perform routine maintenance.
- Follow all OSHA and company safety protocols; wear required PPE at all times.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling and positioning.
- Maintain accurate daily logs of equipment usage and work performed.
- Work occasional overtime to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Experience operating heavy construction equipment (minimum 1‑2 years preferred).
- Basic knowledge of construction site safety and equipment maintenance.
- Physical ability to lift 50 lb, stand, walk, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $31,176.56 per year (fixed). Competitive benefits package including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for overtime pay.
