Epic Systems Analyst – Ambulatory

Highmark Health is seeking an Epic Systems Analyst – Ambulatory to join its Boise, Ada County, US team. This role configures, rolls out, and supports Epic ambulatory applications while acting as a bridge between end‑users and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, build, test, implement, and maintain Epic ambulatory modules.
• Gather and document business and system requirements through interviews and workflow analysis.
• Create functional specifications, configuration guides, and test scripts.
• Provide day‑to‑day support, troubleshoot issues, and deliver timely resolutions.
• Conduct user training sessions and develop training materials.
• Collaborate with IT, clinical staff, and vendors to ensure seamless integration.
• Participate in system upgrades, releases, and post‑implementation reviews.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field.

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate clinical needs into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience with Epic software configuration, testing, and go‑live support.
• Knowledge of healthcare workflows, regulatory standards, and data security.
