Epic Systems Analyst – Ambulatory

Highmark Health is seeking an Epic Systems Analyst – Ambulatory in Bismarck, Burleigh County, US. This role will configure, roll out, and support Epic Ambulatory applications while collaborating with end‑users to resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, build, test, implement, and maintain Epic Ambulatory modules.
• Gather and document business and system requirements from clinical and administrative users.
• Perform system analysis, configuration, and customizations to meet functional specifications.
• Provide tier‑1 and tier‑2 support, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with technical teams for resolution.
• Develop and deliver end‑user training and create user guides and documentation.
• Participate in system upgrades, integrations, and testing cycles.
• Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and internal policies.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 2 years of experience configuring and supporting Epic Ambulatory applications.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate clinical workflows into system configurations.
• Experience with Epic reporting tools (Clarity, Cogito, or Reporting Workbench) is a plus.
• Knowledge of healthcare standards (HIPAA, HL7, FHIR) preferred.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.

Compensation

Salary range: $56,136.91 annually.
