About This Position

Job Summary

Highmark Health is seeking an Epic Systems Analyst – Ambulatory to join its team in Wyoming, Kent County, US. This role will configure, roll out, and support Epic Ambulatory applications, acting as a bridge between end‑users and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, design, build, test, implement, and provide ongoing support for Epic Ambulatory software.
  • Conduct business and systems analysis to gather detailed requirements.
  • Create and maintain functional specifications, workflow diagrams, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with clinicians, administrators, and IT staff to translate needs into system solutions.
  • Provide end‑user training, troubleshooting, and post‑implementation support.
  • Identify and resolve system issues, performing root‑cause analysis and recommending enhancements.
  • Participate in system upgrades, integrations, and testing cycles.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience configuring and supporting Epic Ambulatory modules.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret clinical workflows and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Experience with Epic reporting tools (Clarity, Caboodle) is a plus.
  • Certification in Epic Ambulatory (preferred).

Compensation

Salary range: $73,901.63 annually.
