Epic Systems Analyst – Ambulatory

Job Summary

Highmark Health is seeking an Epic Systems Analyst – Ambulatory to join its Ny State Campus in Albany County, US. This role will configure, roll out, and support Epic ambulatory applications while collaborating with end‑users to solve system issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, build, test, implement, and maintain Epic ambulatory modules.
• Perform business and systems analysis, capture requirements, and produce clear documentation.
• Configure Epic workflows, screens, and reports to meet clinical and operational needs.
• Provide tier‑1 and tier‑2 support, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with technical teams for resolutions.
• Conduct user training sessions, create job aids, and support go‑live activities.
• Participate in change management, system upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with Epic Systems, preferably in an ambulatory setting.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate clinical workflows into system configurations.
• Experience with Epic training, documentation, and support processes.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and data privacy (HIPAA) is a plus.
