Job Summary

Highmark Health is seeking an Epic Systems Analyst – Ambulatory to join its team in Archer, Laramie County, US. This role will configure, roll out, and support Epic ambulatory applications while collaborating with end‑users to resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, build, test, implement, and provide ongoing support for Epic Ambulatory software.
• Conduct business and systems analysis to capture detailed requirements.
• Document functional specifications, system designs, and configuration changes.
• Perform system configuration, data conversion, and interface setup.
• Provide end‑user training, create user guides, and act as the primary point of contact for issue resolution.
• Collaborate with clinical, IT, and operational teams to ensure seamless integration with existing workflows.
• Participate in system testing, go‑live activities, and post‑implementation support.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot problems, and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Nursing, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience configuring and supporting Epic Ambulatory modules.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate clinical needs into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clinicians, administrators, and technical staff.
• Knowledge of healthcare workflows, regulatory requirements, and interoperability standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR).
• Epic certification in Ambulatory (preferred but not mandatory).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation
