About This Position
Job Summary
Highmark Health is seeking an Epic Systems Analyst – Ambulatory to join its team in Archer, Laramie County, US. This role will configure, roll out, and support Epic ambulatory applications while collaborating with end‑users to resolve issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, build, test, implement, and provide ongoing support for Epic Ambulatory software.
- Conduct business and systems analysis to capture detailed requirements.
- Document functional specifications, system designs, and configuration changes.
- Perform system configuration, data conversion, and interface setup.
- Provide end‑user training, create user guides, and act as the primary point of contact for issue resolution.
- Collaborate with clinical, IT, and operational teams to ensure seamless integration with existing workflows.
- Participate in system testing, go‑live activities, and post‑implementation support.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot problems, and implement corrective actions.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Nursing, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience configuring and supporting Epic Ambulatory modules.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate clinical needs into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clinicians, administrators, and technical staff.
- Knowledge of healthcare workflows, regulatory requirements, and interoperability standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR).
- Epic certification in Ambulatory (preferred but not mandatory).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Compensation
Salary: $67,826.95 annually (fixed). Additional benefits include health insurance, retirement plans, and professional development opportunities.
