Epic Systems Analyst – Ambulatory
About This Position
Highmark Health is seeking an Epic Systems Analyst – Ambulatory to join its team in Phoenix, Maricopa County, US. This role focuses on configuring, deploying, and supporting Epic Ambulatory applications while collaborating with end‑users and clinical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, build, test, implement, and provide ongoing support for Epic Ambulatory software.
- Conduct business and systems analysis to capture detailed requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Document system designs, configuration decisions, and workflow enhancements.
- Provide end‑user training, create user guides, and serve as the primary point of contact for issue resolution.
- Collaborate with clinical staff, IT teams, and vendors to ensure seamless integration with other health‑care systems.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot problems, and apply patches or upgrades as needed.
- Participate in project meetings, status reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience configuring or supporting Epic Ambulatory modules.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate clinical needs into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with clinicians and technical staff.
- Experience with Epic configuration tools, reporting (Clarity/Reporting Workbench), and testing methodologies.
- Knowledge of healthcare workflows, regulatory requirements, and interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR) is a plus.
Compensation
Salary range: $55,761.91 – $55,761.91 per year.
