Job Summary
Hummingbird Healthcare is seeking an Epic Architect in the United States to lead the design and implementation of Epic software solutions that enhance patient access and streamline healthcare delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, configure, and optimize Epic modules to meet clinical and operational goals.
- Collaborate with healthcare system partners to define requirements and translate them into technical designs.
- Lead integration efforts with other health IT systems, ensuring data integrity and interoperability.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development and implementation teams.
- Develop and enforce best practices, standards, and documentation for Epic deployments.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements.
- Stay current with Epic product updates and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Epic Architect or senior Epic consultant with multiple successful implementations.
- Deep knowledge of Epic modules (e.g., EpicCare Ambulatory, Inpatient, MyChart, Resolute).
- Strong understanding of healthcare workflows, patient access, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Relevant Epic certifications and a bachelor’s degree in health informatics, IT, or related field.
Compensation
Salary range: $141,501.34 per year.
