Job Summary

ActioNet is seeking a Mid-Level Engineering and Installation Technician in Honolulu, Hawaii. This role can be part‑time or full‑time and involves extensive travel (35% of time) to support federal government and Department of Defense projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software solutions for federal clients.
• Perform on‑site engineering assessments, system integrations, and troubleshooting.
• Document installation procedures, test results, and client hand‑overs.
• Coordinate with project managers and security personnel to ensure compliance with DoD standards.
• Travel domestically (CONUS) and internationally (OCONUS) for 2‑8 week deployments as needed.
• Provide post‑installation support and training to end users.

Qualifications

• Mid‑level experience (2‑4 years) in IT engineering, network installation, or related field.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and familiarity with federal IT standards.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 35% of the time.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.

Compensation & Benefits
