About This Position
GE Aerospace is seeking an Engine Overhaul Flight Deck Leader in Cammack Village, Pulaski County, US. Lead a team of technicians, oversee engine overhaul projects and ensure safety, quality and on‑time delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct daily operations of the flight deck during engine overhaul cycles, coordinating resources and schedules.
- Ensure compliance with FAA, EASA and internal safety and quality standards.
- Mentor and develop a multidisciplinary team of engineers, technicians and support staff.
- Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce re‑work.
- Collaborate with supply chain, engineering and maintenance planning to secure parts and tooling.
- Generate performance reports, track KPIs and communicate status to senior leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience in jet engine overhaul, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
- Strong knowledge of turbine engine components, diagnostics and test equipment.
- Proven ability to interpret engineering drawings, work orders and maintenance manuals.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
- Willingness to work in a fast‑paced, safety‑focused environment.
