Job Summary

First Horizon is seeking an Energy Finance Data Analyst to work onsite in Greenway Plaza, Houston, US. The role focuses on monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on the bank’s commercial Energy Finance loan portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and maintain loan portfolio data from multiple internal systems.
• Develop and automate regular performance dashboards for the Market President and senior leadership.
• Track portfolio metrics such as loan utilization, risk ratings, covenant compliance, and profitability.
• Perform ad‑hoc analysis to support strategic decisions, new product development, and regulatory reporting.
• Design and implement efficient data‑processing workflows using SQL, Python or similar tools.
• Prepare clear visual presentations and written reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with credit, risk, and treasury teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in financial data analysis, preferably within energy finance or banking.
• Strong proficiency in SQL; experience with Python, R, or VBA is a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities.
• Detail‑oriented with a proactive approach to process improvement.

Compensation

Salary: $81,635.11 annually (fixed).
