About This Position
Job Summary
Marriott International, Inc is seeking a Seasonal Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join the team at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Grapevine, Tarrant County, Texas. This part‑time, non‑management role provides immediate medical response and safety support for guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies, injuries, and health incidents on resort premises.
- Provide basic life support, assess patients, and administer first aid or emergency medication as trained.
- Assist with fire safety, structural emergencies, confined‑space rescues, and hazardous‑materials incidents.
- Coordinate with local emergency services and on‑site security to ensure seamless incident management.
- Maintain accurate patient care reports and incident documentation.
- Conduct routine equipment checks, restock medical supplies, and ensure all EMT gear is operational.
- Participate in regular safety drills, training sessions, and health‑risk assessments.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Current EMT certification (state of Texas) and CPR/First Aid certification.
- Minimum 1 year of EMT or similar emergency response experience, preferably in hospitality or large‑venue settings.
- Ability to work flexible, seasonal hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong communication skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift 75 lbs and perform emergency rescues.
Work Schedule & Location
Part‑time, seasonal schedule based at Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center, 1501 Gaylord Trail, Grapevine, TX 76051.
Compensation
Salary: $48,459.45 per year (fixed seasonal rate).
