Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe and timely emergency medical transport for patients to hospitals, clinics and care facilities.
• Assess patient condition, administer basic life support, and monitor vital signs during transport.
• Maintain accurate patient records, transport logs, and equipment checks in compliance with state regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, healthcare providers, and receiving facilities to ensure seamless hand‑off of care.
• Perform routine cleaning, restocking, and maintenance of ambulance equipment and supplies.
• Participate in ongoing training and quality‑improvement initiatives to uphold KQT’s high standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Current EMT certification (EMT‑B or EMT‑I) and valid state EMT license.
• High school diploma or GED; additional medical coursework preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to operate a ambulance safely.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate, patient‑focused attitude.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical stamina to lift patients and equipment and to remain seated for extended periods.
