Join The Hartford’s Global Specialty – Financial Lines team in Baton Rouge as an entry‑level Employment Practices Liability (EPL) Claims Analyst. You’ll manage a portfolio of EPL claims, support policyholders, and help protect businesses from workplace litigation.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, investigate, and evaluate EPL claims from inception through resolution.
- Analyze claim facts, policy language, and applicable employment law to determine coverage.
- Coordinate with legal counsel, adjusters, and medical providers to gather necessary documentation.
- Prepare detailed claim reports, reserve recommendations, and settlement proposals.
- Maintain accurate claim files in the company’s claims management system.
- Provide timely communication and updates to policyholders and internal stakeholders.
- Identify trends and contribute to risk‑mitigation strategies for the EPL unit.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Insurance, or related field.
