Emergency Department Technician – St. Mary Campus – PRN – Variable Shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Assist nurses and physicians with patient triage, transport, and basic clinical procedures.
• Prepare and maintain emergency department equipment, supplies, and treatment rooms.
• Monitor vital signs, obtain specimens, and record accurate patient data in the electronic health record.
• Provide compassionate patient education and emotional support during emergencies.
• Ensure infection control standards and safety protocols are followed at all times.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; certification as an Emergency Department Technician (EDT) or equivalent preferred.

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record systems.
• Flexibility to work variable PRN shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
