Job Summary

Mercor is seeking an Elementary Education Specialist to work remotely with K‑12 AI research labs, reviewing AI‑generated lesson plans and assessments. This contract role supports innovative education technology initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate AI‑generated outputs for lesson planning, student assessment, and classroom management.
• Provide detailed feedback to improve accuracy, relevance, and pedagogical soundness.
• Collaborate with AI researchers and curriculum designers to align content with Ontario education standards.
• Document findings and suggest enhancements for AI models.
• Participate in virtual meetings and training sessions with the Mercor team.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or related field; teaching certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years experience teaching K‑12 students, preferably in Ontario.
• Strong understanding of curriculum development and assessment practices.
• Familiarity with AI tools in education is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently.
