About This Position
Peter Lucas Project Management Inc. is seeking an Electrical Technologist to join its Edmonton office. Work on cutting‑edge projects across mining, energy and heavy industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, install, test and commission electrical systems for large‑scale industrial projects.
- Interpret and apply electrical codes, standards and project specifications.
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors and clients to resolve technical issues.
- Prepare and review technical documentation, schematics and as‑built drawings.
- Support field crews during construction, providing troubleshooting and on‑site expertise.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Electrical Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology or related field.
- Minimum 2 years experience in industrial, mining or energy electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian electrical codes (CSA) and industry standards.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel to project sites.
