Electrical Project Manager

Actalent is seeking an Electrical Project Manager in Hackensack, Bergen County, US. This full‑time role leads electrical construction projects from planning through completion, managing scope, schedule, budget and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead electrical construction projects from concept to close‑out, ensuring compliance with NEC and local codes.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets and resource plans.
• Coordinate daily activities among clients, contractors, subcontractors and internal engineering teams.
• Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
• Conduct site inspections, oversee quality control, and ensure safety standards are met.
• Prepare and present regular status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of hands‑on electrical construction management experience.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, local building codes, and industry best practices.
• Proven ability to manage multi‑million‑dollar projects with strict timelines.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites.

Compensation

Annual salary: $106,408.30
