About This Position

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the electrical design and delivery of civil infrastructure projects from concept to completion.
- Prepare detailed schematics, wiring diagrams, load calculations and specifications in line with UK standards.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams—including civil, mechanical and structural engineers—to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
- Manage project budgets, timelines and risk registers, reporting progress to senior stakeholders.
- Conduct site inspections, testing and commissioning activities, ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations.
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and subcontractors.
Essential Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 3‑5 years’ experience delivering electrical works on civil or infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or EPLAN.
- Strong knowledge of BS7671, IEC standards and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem‑solving skills.
- Valid UK driving licence (car allowance provided).
