About This Position
Job Summary
Hadrian Automation is seeking an experienced Electrical Controls Engineer to join our innovative team in Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, USA. This role will design, develop, and maintain control systems for cutting‑edge aerospace and defense manufacturing equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, program, and commission PLC, HMI, and motion‑control systems for autonomous factory equipment.
- Develop wiring diagrams, schematics, and bill‑of‑materials for new and retro‑fit projects.
- Collaborate with software, robotics, and mechanical engineers to integrate full‑stack manufacturing solutions.
- Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and root‑cause analysis to ensure high reliability and safety.
- Maintain documentation, version control, and compliance with industry standards (NI, IEC, ISO).
- Provide technical support and training to production staff and field service technicians.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience with industrial control systems, PLC programming (Allen‑Bradley, Siemens), and HMI development.
- Strong knowledge of motor drives, sensors, safety interlocks, and networking (EtherNet/IP, Profinet).
- Proficiency in CAD tools for electrical schematics (AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in cross‑functional teams.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in aerospace or defense manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with robotics integration and vision systems.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for industrial control systems.
Compensation
Annual salary: $75,378.12
