Job Summary

The EHS Manager at Fuyao Glass America Inc in Plymouth, Wayne County, US leads the development, implementation and maintenance of all Environmental, Health and Safety programs, ensuring compliance with federal, state and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive EHS strategy aligned with corporate goals.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT and other applicable regulations.
• Establish safety metrics, track performance, and report results to senior leadership.
• Lead incident investigations, root‑cause analysis and corrective action plans.
• Drive safety leadership programs, training and awareness campaigns for all employees and contractors.
• Implement environmental stewardship initiatives, waste reduction and sustainability projects.
• Maintain EHS documentation, permits, audits and regulatory filings.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance and HR to integrate safety into daily operations.
• Serve as the primary liaison with government agencies and external auditors.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Professional certifications such as CSP, CIH or OSHA 30‑hour preferred.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state and local EHS regulations.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and influence senior leadership.
• Excellent analytical, communication and problem‑solving skills.

Annual salary range: $112,658.92
