Service Care Solutions is seeking an experienced EHC Coordinator to work remotely on a 3‑month rolling contract (potentially extending) supporting statutory SEND services for a Local Authority. The role is based in Abbotts Barton, Winchester and offers a day rate of £307.64 umbrella (£235 PAYE exclusive), equivalent to an annual salary of £79,820.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the full Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) process for children and young people aged 0–11 years, including preparation, submission and review.
• Liaise with parents, schools, health professionals and local authority officials to ensure timely and accurate information exchange.
• Maintain up‑to‑date case files, monitor deadlines and produce progress reports.
• Provide guidance and support to families navigating the EHCP system and prepare them for adulthood transitions.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and local authority policies.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience coordinating EHCPs within a statutory SEND environment.
• Strong knowledge of SEND legislation, particularly for children aged 0–11 and Preparing for Adulthood (PFA) pathways.
• Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently while meeting tight deadlines.
• Proficiency with case‑management software and Microsoft Office suite.
