Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise daily field operations for ecological restoration projects.
- Coordinate crew activities, assign tasks, and monitor performance.
- Operate and maintain heavy equipment, trucks, and specialized restoration tools.
- Load, unload, and manage materials and equipment on-site.
- Conduct administrative duties including daily reports, time cards, and equipment logs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental guidelines.
- Communicate project status to office staff and assist with client updates.
- Troubleshoot and resolve on‑site issues, adapting plans for adverse weather or difficult terrain.
Qualifications
- Proven experience supervising field crews in land‑care, restoration, or similar outdoor work.
- Strong knowledge of ecological restoration techniques and best practices.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate trucks, loaders, and other large equipment.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Physical ability to work in rugged conditions and lift moderate loads.
- High school diploma or GED required; relevant certifications a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
