About This Position
The Charity Search Group is seeking a part‑time Director of Business Development to drive growth for its nonprofit executive‑search practice. This remote role is open to candidates based in the U.S. or Canada, with a focus on serving mission‑driven organizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities with nonprofit and higher‑education clients.
- Lead the full sales cycle—from prospecting and proposal development to contract negotiation and closing.
- Collaborate with the Chief Operating Officer and senior consultants to align service offerings with client needs.
- Develop and execute strategic partnership plans to expand CSG’s market presence.
- Track performance metrics, prepare forecasting reports, and adjust tactics to meet revenue targets.
- Represent CSG at industry conferences, webinars, and networking events.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of business development or sales experience, preferably within nonprofit, philanthropy, or higher‑education sectors.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
- Self‑motivated, able to work independently in a remote environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Nonprofit Management, or a related field (advanced degree a plus).
Compensation & Benefits
Annual base salary: $99,991 (USD) plus performance‑based incentives, flexible and commensurate with experience.
