Director, Business Development – Specialty Pharmacy

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy for specialty pharmacy services.
• Identify, negotiate, and manage partnerships with specialty pharmaceutical manufacturers, biotech companies, and payers.
• Lead provider engagement programs and support clinical implementation of high‑complexity therapies.
• Oversee data analytics, reporting, and outcomes tracking to demonstrate value to partners.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Life Sciences or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in specialty pharmacy, biotech, or pharmaceutical business development.
• Proven track record of securing multi‑million‑dollar contracts and building strategic alliances.
• Deep understanding of cell, gene, and rare‑disease therapies, as well as payer reimbursement models.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel regionally and nationally as needed.
