About This Position
Job Summary
DIRECTV is seeking a Director, Ad Tech Partnerships and Business Development to lead the strategy and execution of its ad‑tech ecosystem. This hybrid role is based in New York City, NY, with three days per week in the office and the flexibility to work remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end‑to‑end management of DIRECTV’s ad‑tech stack, including targeting, attribution, and measurement platforms.
- Identify, negotiate, and secure contracts with third‑party ad‑tech providers, ensuring favorable terms and compliance.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, sales, and legal teams to integrate ad‑tech solutions into the digital ecosystem.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners, acting as the primary point of contact for performance monitoring and issue resolution.
- Lead cross‑functional initiatives to optimize revenue generation, data privacy, and measurement accuracy.
- Provide regular reporting and insights to senior leadership on partnership performance and market trends.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in ad‑tech, programmatic advertising, or digital media partnerships.
- Proven track record in negotiating high‑value contracts and managing complex vendor relationships.
- Deep understanding of ad‑tech ecosystem components such as DSPs, SSPs, DMPs, and measurement providers.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business strategies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or related advanced degree preferred.
Compensation
Salary range: $147,919 – $221,818 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
