About This Position

Job Summary

The Director of Endos Infection Control at Fujifilm in Washington, D.C., US leads reprocessing and infection‑control programs for the company’s endoscopic product portfolio. This senior role serves as the primary subject‑matter expert on cleaning, high‑level disinfection and sterilization of Fujifilm endoscopy devices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and oversee infection‑control policies and procedures for all Fujifilm endoscopic products.
  • Act as the company’s go‑to expert for cleaning, high‑level disinfection (HLD) and sterilization processes.
  • Collaborate with customers, third‑party service providers, and internal teams (R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Sales) to ensure compliance with FDA, CDC, and international standards.
  • Lead risk assessments, validation studies, and root‑cause investigations related to reprocessing failures.
  • Provide technical training and support to clinical staff, distributors, and field service engineers.
  • Monitor emerging infection‑control trends and integrate best practices into product design and service offerings.
  • Prepare and present reports for senior leadership, regulatory bodies, and external audits.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biomedical Engineering, Health Sciences or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in endoscopy reprocessing, infection control, or sterile processing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Deep knowledge of FDA, CDC, ISO 13485, and international sterilization standards.
  • Proven track record of managing cross‑functional projects and stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% for customer visits, audits, and industry conferences.

Compensation

Annual base salary: $164,792.06 USD.
