About This Position
The Director of Endoscopy Infection Control at Fujifilm will lead reprocessing and infection‑control programs for the Endoscopy Division on the New York State Campus, Albany County. This senior role serves as the primary expert on cleaning, high‑level disinfection and sterilization of Fujifilm endoscopic products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and oversee infection‑control policies for all Fujifilm endoscopy devices.
- Lead cross‑functional teams—including customers, third‑party service providers, and internal departments—to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Act as the subject‑matter expert for high‑level disinfection, sterilization processes, and reprocessing workflows.
- Conduct audits, risk assessments, and continuous‑improvement initiatives to reduce infection risk.
- Provide training and technical support to clinical staff and partners worldwide.
- Monitor emerging guidelines, industry trends, and technology advances to keep Fujifilm’s practices current.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biomedical Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in infection control, reprocessing, or sterilization within a medical device or healthcare setting.
- Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams and complex projects.
- Deep knowledge of FDA, CDC, and international standards for endoscopic reprocessing.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
Compensation & Benefits
