Job Summary
Fujifilm is seeking a Director of Endoscopy Infection Control in Baton Rouge, East Baton Rouge Parish, US. This senior role leads reprocessing and infection‑control programs for the company’s endoscopic product portfolio with a salary of $157,779.55.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and oversee cleaning, high‑level disinfection, and sterilization procedures for all Fujifilm endoscopy devices.
- Act as the primary subject‑matter expert for the Endoscopy Division on infection‑control standards and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with customers, third‑party service providers, and internal teams (R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing) to ensure safe product use.
- Lead investigations of infection‑control incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and drive corrective actions.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of FDA, CDC, and international guidelines; translate requirements into actionable SOPs.
- Design and deliver training programs for internal staff and external partners on proper reprocessing techniques.
- Monitor key performance indicators, generate reports, and present findings to senior leadership.
- Manage budgets, resources, and vendor relationships related to infection‑control services.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biomedical Engineering, Health Sciences or related field; Master’s preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in endoscopy reprocessing, infection control, or medical device sterilization, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of FDA, CMS, ISO 13485, and international infection‑control standards.
- Proven track record of cross‑functional collaboration and project management.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to train diverse audiences.
- Analytical mindset with experience in data‑driven decision making and continuous improvement.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
