About This Position
Fujifilm is seeking a Director of Endoscopy Infection Control to lead reprocessing and infection‑control activities for its endoscopic product portfolio in Providence, Providence County, US. This senior role serves as the primary subject‑matter expert on cleaning, high‑level disinfection and sterilization of Fujifilm endoscopy equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and oversee infection‑control policies and procedures for all Fujifilm endoscopy products.
- Lead cross‑functional teams—including R&D, quality, regulatory, and customer support—to ensure compliance with FDA, CDC, and international standards.
- Act as the main liaison with hospitals, ambulatory centers, third‑party reprocessing firms, and key customers on best‑practice cleaning and sterilization protocols.
- Manage validation studies, risk assessments, and continuous‑improvement initiatives for reprocessing workflows.
- Provide technical training and education to internal staff and external partners on high‑level disinfection and sterilization techniques.
- Monitor and analyze field data, adverse events, and product performance to drive corrective actions.
- Prepare and present reports for senior leadership, regulatory bodies, and audit teams.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biomedical Engineering, Health Sciences or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in infection control, sterile processing, or endoscopy reprocessing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of FDA, USP #797, CDC, and international reprocessing standards.
- Proven track record of managing cross‑functional projects and driving compliance initiatives.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
Compensation
Base salary: $166,372.90 per year.
