About This Position

Job Summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Device Tech_MGFR in Atlanta, Fulton County, US. This role provides clinical, educational, research, and administrative support for the implantable device program, handling device interrogations and data management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate on‑site and remote interrogations of implantable medical devices, ensuring accurate data capture.
  • Collect, validate, and upload device data from patients’ home transmissions to a secure, internet‑based database.
  • Maintain and update multiple research databases, supporting ongoing clinical studies.
  • Collaborate with clinicians, researchers, and IT staff to troubleshoot device‑related issues.
  • Provide education and training to patients and staff on device use and data submission procedures.
  • Prepare reports and documentation for regulatory compliance and research publications.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling, inventory control, and procurement of device supplies.

Qualifications

  • Relevant technical or clinical background (e.g., biomedical engineering, nursing, or allied health).
  • Experience with implantable cardiac or neuro‑stimulation devices preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data management software.
  • Excellent communication skills for patient education and interdisciplinary teamwork.
  • Detail‑oriented with ability to follow strict regulatory and safety protocols.

Compensation

Salary: $114,839.30 per year (fixed)
