About This Position

The Device Tech_MGFR role at Intermountain Health in Bismarck, Burleigh County supports the implantable device program through clinical, educational, research and administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate on‑site and remote interrogations of implantable cardiac and neuro‑stimulation devices.
  • Collect, validate, and upload device data to secure, internet‑based databases.
  • Support patients in submitting home‑based device transmissions and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
  • Maintain and update multiple research databases for ongoing clinical studies.
  • Assist with protocol compliance, data quality checks, and reporting for research projects.
  • Provide education and training to clinical staff and patients on device usage and data submission procedures.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling interrogations, documenting findings, and ensuring regulatory documentation is current.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Health Information Management, or related field.
  • Experience with implantable cardiac or neuro‑stimulation devices preferred.
  • Strong technical aptitude for device interrogation software and electronic medical record systems.
  • Excellent communication skills for patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Ability to manage multiple databases, ensure data integrity, and adhere to research protocols.
  • Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
