About This Position
Intermountain Health is seeking a Device Tech_MGFR in Boise, Ada County, US. This role provides clinical, educational, research and administrative support for the implantable device program, handling device interrogations and data management.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate onsite and remote interrogations of implantable cardiac devices.
- Collect, validate, and upload device data to secure, internet‑based databases.
- Support clinical staff with device‑related education and troubleshooting.
- Maintain and update multiple research databases for ongoing studies.
- Assist with regulatory documentation, audit preparation, and quality‑control processes.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and research teams to ensure accurate data capture and patient safety.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Health Sciences, or related field.
- Experience with implantable cardiac devices (e.g., pacemakers, ICDs, CRT‑D) preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and data‑management software.
- Excellent communication skills for patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and adhere to strict confidentiality standards.
Compensation & Benefits
