Job Summary
Lead the K‑12 construction management department, overseeing all phases of school construction projects from planning through close‑out. This senior role combines strategic leadership with hands‑on project oversight to ensure safe, on‑time, and budget‑friendly delivery of educational facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute construction strategies for K‑12 projects, aligning with district goals and regulatory requirements.
- Manage a multidisciplinary team of project managers, superintendents, and field staff, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
- Oversee budgeting, cost control, and forecasting to meet the $183,834.27 salary‑aligned compensation structure.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, vendors, and school administrators to ensure design intent and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in K‑12 or institutional construction, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or departmental leadership role.
- Proven track record managing multimillion‑dollar budgets and delivering projects on schedule.
- Strong knowledge of school construction codes, ADA compliance, and LEED or other sustainable building standards.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera, MS Project).
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to multiple school sites within the region.
