Amazon is hiring a DCO Tech in Sharon, Madison County, US. This role is a critical part of the AWS Infrastructure Services team, responsible for maintaining and repairing data center hardware and networks.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed hardware diagnostics and troubleshooting across servers, storage, and networking equipment.
- Execute physical repairs, component replacements, and preventive maintenance in a high‑density data center environment.
- Monitor infrastructure health using AWS monitoring tools and respond to alerts promptly.
- Participate in an on‑call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical incidents.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement upgrades, firmware updates, and capacity expansions.
- Document all activities, incidents, and resolutions in internal tracking systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety, security, and operational standards.
Required Qualifications
- Strong background in data center operations, hardware repair, and network troubleshooting.
- Experience with server platforms (e.g., Dell, HPE, Cisco) and networking gear (switches, routers, firewalls).
- Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and on‑call shifts.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Cisco CCNA) are a plus.

Annual salary: $235,867.40
