Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance data pipelines using PySpark and AWS services.
- Collaborate with product owners, data analysts, and other engineers in an Agile environment to deliver reliable data products.
- Implement ETL processes, data validation, and automated testing to ensure data quality and integrity.
- Optimize existing workloads for cost efficiency and performance on AWS (e.g., EMR, S3, Redshift, Lambda).
- Participate in code reviews, contribute to best‑practice documentation, and mentor junior team members.
- Support production monitoring, incident response, and continuous improvement of data platforms.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 2+ years of professional experience developing data pipelines with PySpark.
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services such as EMR, S3, Glue, Redshift, or Lambda.
- Understanding of ETL concepts, data modeling, and distributed computing.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version‑control tools (Git).

- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of data governance, security best practices, and regulatory compliance.
