Data Center Operations Analyst II

Brightstar Lottery is seeking a Data Center Operations Analyst II to join its Tallahassee, Leon County, FL team. This full‑time role supports the day‑to‑day reliability and performance of Brightstar’s mission‑critical data center infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, network, and software incidents across the data center environment.
• Perform routine capacity planning, performance analysis, and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Coordinate change management activities, ensuring proper documentation and minimal service disruption.
• Collaborate with security, engineering, and vendor teams to implement patches, upgrades, and hardware refreshes.
• Generate operational reports, dashboards, and post‑incident reviews for continuous improvement.
• Maintain compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST) and internal service level agreements.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on experience in data center operations, network monitoring, or systems administration.
• Proficiency with monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios), virtualization platforms, and Windows/Linux servers.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to document procedures clearly.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Cisco CCNA, or similar are a plus.
